I don't have any problem with RC release, only problem with RTM Release. My Hardware: Gigabyte EP45-UD3P Intel ICH10R in AHCI mode I had this problem with Western Digital, Samsung, and Hitachi drives. I recently have done a clean install of Windows 8, but one problem seems persistent.
