Yes you read that right, just start Windows 7 in Safe Mode and then restart your computer without doing anything in Safe Mode. It's really not that scarey. When removing the settings the freezing stopped. I've even tried the eject DVD and reinsert method, but to no avail. My main OS is on the C: partition of my SSD and on my HDD I have a D: partition for storage and an E: partition for recovery. Sorry, there was a problem flagging this post. The main issue I have is the "Not Responding" errors, especially when I try and access my Control Panel. You need to have the proper drivers and select the right chipset, change the mode in the bios, then reboot and if everything was correctly configures, it will work.
