I eventually found out that removing the IntelHDLegacyGraphics64.exe file from /BootCamp/Drivers/Intel on my installation device would (temporarily) fix that screen. One big difference between the two is that my MacPro has a software RAID 1 HFS+ volume in addition to the boot volume. The computer makes a horrible noise, then it's a black screen with a blue square which contains info, but doesn't stay up long enough to read.
I was able to repeat this with 2 separate Windows 7 installs. and install that (Run). Why can't laws be shorter? Boot Camp Windows 7 Apple needs to fix these drivers to resolve the BSOD issues.
