I already turned the OPROM for Asmedia port off, but it doesn't help. 11) I have tried every setting under the Sun in the BIOS, and it just won't work. I havea SanDisk USB micro-chip reading hub (it can read 4 different sized chips)that I normally leave connected thru the case front panel to a M/B USB port. I took the ssd that already boots perfectly when connected directly to the mb SATA I port and connected to the card. The card does work though, because I can connect my SATA DVDRW to it and it works just fine. Ahci Vs Ide I haven't used HD mode in years because it's slow with little features to support any SATA drives.

If both of the Marvell LAN 1 & 2 are disabled then the LAN boot ROM goes away and is not an option any more. Setting it from IDE to RAID will cause Windows to look for other types of drivers and it won't work - you need to set it back to IDE. Be prepared to show where any unallocated SSD capacity should go.
