Didnt even need to reboot. Click the Change button under Destination when printing and select the printer. Type the following:net use \\ * /user:administrator You will be prompted for the NAS administrator password. Then 3) Network and Sharing Center - Change Advanced Sharing Settings - Turn everything to ON for all profiles and options - Save changes and close.
Now you can restrict some access by setting some of the Advanced sharing settings. The error showed up as "path not found" or "missing protocol" , or as a "Winsock" issue. On preview I did not have any issues browsing ny NAS, but after the fresh install I can not access the file shares at all. When you are on the services applet make sure the service "Workstation" is running and is set to start atomatically.
I'm pretty sure if I upgrade this router, the issue will disappear. I was able to create new folder link targets under Network Locations. Recover We can Recover your Files, Just in Case.
