It made my upgrading a success. Disconnect the HD i am transferring from, this HD should not be needed going forward, but i keep it "as-is" in case something goes wrong and the new SSD doesn't work check over here
I think that's a mistake i made, i didn't select that choice and the restore copied my HD alignment to the SSD, and it was aligned wrong for an SSD. I tried both with the option for leaving the partition the same and when that did not work I tried it with the "convert partition" option but that didn't work either.
