BSOD When Switching From INTEL To AMD 6770M
Regardless of the version of driver used, I experience a full lock of my system after installation of any AMD driver, with a black screen. I installed fresh OS and older driver but nothing was able to sort out the problem. Haha. By some of the replies here my guess is probably no. check over here
Originally when windows 10 came out I was getting the infinite boot loop crash with an internal power error. I thought it to be windows 10 issue so I reverted back to windows 7. Then I tried to restore again the W8 system image and the tool says I can't restore cause the image is located on a drive that needs to be formatted. Since it came with W7, HP never released new GPU drivers for W8 or W10, but I'm currently running W8.1 with modified drivers found online. http://www.sevenforums.com/bsod-help-support/337411-bsod-when-switching-intel-amd-6770m-igp-sys.html

When I use Radeon, there is no Intel HD Graphic in the Windows device panel. The problem with this was that I was lucky to get above a solid 10fps, making it not worth even running Minecraft. Booted into Safe mode, ran "Autoruns" from Sysinternals which allows you to selectively disable windows drivers as well. Trying different previous and newer versions of AMD drivers including ( 15.12 crimson, 15.7.1, 15.8 beta , 14.12 , 13.9 , 15.11) still got black screen while installation of driver3.

Take the hard drive out of the old computer (Intel) and install it in the new computer (AMD). Unfortunately, you now have an old version of your graphics driver. But after two days the same problem was there in windows 7. Thanks again.

I was able to do it from safe mode, but if that doesn't work you can either use the recovery console or something like ubcd4win. Last edited by Y0!; 08-12-2014 at 15:31. It's likely that an Intel-based Windows 7 computer would have been configured in AHCI (or possibly even RAID) mode. just delete intelppm.sys.
