I thought I lost a harddrive and 4 years worth of data for a moment. solved Black screen after windows 8.1 logo on boot. Windows XP was designed originally for Single Threaded processors, then patched to allow scheduling on more. Check This Out Also, I just took a look at how long I have to RMA the memory, and I only have a couple days...so thinking of just running down to the local computer

I have tried restoring twice, and recieved errors both times. If I try to start it on it's own, I get the BSOD with an error message saying, "PFN_LIST_CORRUPT" and code... BSOD Help and Support Random Freezing/BSOD, Boot Disk Failure, OK Cold Boot then RepeatYesterday Windows Explorer began to stop responding fairly frequently, but would restart itself without issue and continue to No problems after that.
Fixed to avoid confusion.
