Any time your hard disk drive becomes used, sporadic locations get faulty,however it's for sure but a bad state of things.... I use DVI for my computer monitor but also planned to connect to my TV via HDMI for watching video. I can then "hot switch" to the VGA cable on the PC > change to VGA monitor input > it works.
